Pro Kennex tennis rackets have a very clear position in the market: they are designed for players who do not want to choose between performance and comfort. The brand combines frames with very different playing profiles and its Kinetic system, which uses mobile mass inside selected areas of the racket to manage impact energy and residual vibration.
At Ipontennis the range is organised into three families. Q+ is the broadest, moving from light, forgiving frames to competition-oriented models. Ki offers versatile, comfort-led options with progressive weights for club players. Black Ace provides a more direct, stable and precise response, with 285, 300 and 315 gram versions plus Pro and 105 options. The right choice depends on swing speed, the weight you can move for a full match and the trajectory you want to produce.
Before choosing by looks or model name, connect weight, acceleration and the amount of assistance you really need from the racket.
Frames between 260 and 280 grams are easier to move and suit developing players or anyone reducing physical demand. The 285–300 gram area is the most versatile. From 305 grams upwards stability increases, but early preparation and a complete swing become more important.
Q+ includes easy-power models, generous heads and more precise Tour frames. Ki focuses on balanced comfort and versatility. Black Ace suits players who value a firmer, controlled and stable contact, especially when incoming ball speed rises.
Strings can significantly change the same frame. A multifilament or soft hybrid reinforces comfort; a polyester at moderate tension adds control and spin access. Tension should reflect racket weight, technique, playing frequency and the player’s ability to accelerate.
Each family addresses a different need. Comparing them by playing objective is more useful than choosing only by cosmetics or by the weight used by another player.
The largest collection: Q+30, Q+20 and Q+15 support depth and forgiveness; Q+5 offers balance; Q+Tour and Q+Tour Pro target complete strokes and directional control.

View Pro Kennex Black Ace rackets →Pro Kennex places mobile microspheres in chambers inside the frame or handle, depending on the model. They store energy during the swing and help dissipate part of the residual oscillation after impact. The objective is a stable, comfortable response without making the racket feel disconnected.
In the Q+ family the concept evolves with chambers positioned in four areas of the hoop to support torsional stability and the effective hitting zone. Kinetic mass and chamber location vary by model, so two Pro Kennex rackets with the same static weight may feel very different.
Static weight alone does not explain manoeuvrability. Balance and mass distribution determine how easily the racket accelerates, reacts under time pressure and stays stable against a fast ball. Compare the whole package rather than relying only on the number printed on the frame.
An overly rigid string bed can remove the comfort you are looking for. Players with sensitive arms or many weekly hours often benefit from an elastic string, a hybrid or moderate tension. For maximum precision, polyester should be selected in a gauge and tension the player can use without forcing the stroke.
