Solinco Whiteout tennis rackets: precision, control and feel
Solinco Whiteout tennis rackets are designed for players who generate pace through their own swing and want to direct the ball with greater precision. The family combines a 98 square inch head, a 16x19 pattern in the versions available in this category and a thin, constant beam, producing a more controlled trajectory and connected response.
The active range includes 290 and 305 gram models along with V1 and V2 versions. Whiteout 290 makes acceleration and access to the family easier; Whiteout 305 increases mass, stability and confidence as rally speed rises. The second generation updates frame architecture and, in the 305 V2, uses Foam Tech Core to reduce vibration and improve feel without losing its control-led identity.
On court, Whiteout rewards a clear preparation sequence. The racket should arrive behind the ball early enough for the player to accelerate through contact rather than guide it. When timing is correct, the frame makes it easier to vary cross-court height, change direction down the line and approach the net behind a controlled ball.

Whiteout 290: manageable control
The 290 gram option keeps the 98 square inch head while being easier to accelerate. It suits intermediate and advanced players who want precision and feel without moving directly into a 305 gram frame.
Whiteout 305: stability for complete execution
The 305 gram version targets fast, technically sound swings. Extra mass helps preserve trajectory against heavy balls and rewards early preparation, forward contact and a clear intention to direct the shot.
Generation and response
Whiteout V1 retains a direct, control-oriented feel. V2 revises architecture and flexibility for a more refined response. In the 305 gram V2, foam inside the hoop adds damping without turning the racket into an isolated or muted frame.

A 98 square inch head and constant thin beam
Whiteout uses a thinner and more constant geometry than Blackout. This construction reduces automatic assistance and allows the player to manage height, depth and direction more precisely. The 98 square inch head favours an accurate response when contact is made in front.
Arch-2 Construction is designed to improve stability, useful power and responsiveness throughout the frame. 40T carbon positioned at three and nine o'clock reinforces the impact zone, while Liquid Crystal Technology works on flex, vibration and overall feel.
Preserve the feel that defines Whiteout
A thinner polyester at moderate tension can provide spin and control without closing the launch too much. Players prioritising comfort can use multifilament or a hybrid, especially when they do not break frequently or play many weekly hours with the 305 gram version.
High tension is not required for precision. Head size, beam and mass already provide structural control. A string bed that is too firm can reduce depth and feedback; adjust tension to your swing speed and the exact pattern of the selected version.
